Jennifer Ferretti, DLF Director

Jennifer (she/her) joined CLIR in June 2021 and is the DLF Director where she focuses on supporting and amplifying the work of the DLF community and CLIR initiatives and programs, such as the IMLS-supported Authenticity Project. Jennifer has been working in digital libraries for over 10 years and before joining CLIR, was a digital initiatives librarian at a fine art and design college. Jennifer is an artist, community organizer, and is based in Baltimore, MD.

Aliya Reich, Program Manager for Conferences and Events

Aliya Reich (she/her) is CLIR’s Program Manager for Conferences and Events based in Baltimore, MD. She leads the planning for the annual Digital Library Federation Forum and affiliated events. Her background is in museums and she holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in art history. Outside of work, Aliya is a running coach, leads charity group Pacing for Parkinson’s, and volunteers with Girls on the Run and Big Brothers Big Sisters at the Y.

Gayle Schechter, Program Associate

Gayle (she/her) is DLF’s Program Associate where she manages and provides administrative support to DLF’s working groups and coordinates community outreach (including building the website you’re currently reading). Gayle holds a B.S. in American history and information systems and an M.S. in library and information science with a concentration in archives management. Based in Atlanta, GA, Gayle lives with her chihuahua mix, Rico, who can often be found joining her for working group calls.
